Bakugan Battle Pack - Who Else Wants To Play Bakugan Games?

Children love to play. Whether it is the quintessential Barbie for the girl, or the fake tiny fighting figures of sweaty, beefy men for boys, children love their toys. Most of us remember our obsession for Bey Blades. The Bakugan Battle Arena is as popular as that, except for few extra features.

If you want to get started in playing Bakugan, you should purchase the Bakugan Battle Pack, which contains everything you need to play. The battle packs are available in various colors, and each of them comes with a number of Bakugan.
The game is based on a Japanese anime series of the same name that is seen on the Cartoon Network here in the US. While the series has a gigantic fan base, this battling style game appeals to even those who have no knowledge of the TV show at all. The players all have great fun as they watch the warriors pop from their spheres when they flick them into battle, and they find it easy to identify with their favorite characters.
The object of the game is to capture three opponents' gate cards or defeat all their Bakugan. You do this by rolling or launching it, and then it bursts open to reveal the warrior inside. The walls of the arena prevent the warriors from rolling away, making the game more enjoyable and fast-paced. The game is recommended for ages four and up, and can be up to four players at a time.
The Bakugan Battle Pack consists of marbles and gate cards. The marbles are magnetic spherical containers that must be rolled onto the metal gate cards in order to release the Bakugan that is held within. Different marbles will contain different Bakugan and these will do battle with each other. This is very similar in concept to the popular Pokemon games in the past. The Bakugan will both be awarded points, according to instructions on the card, and the player who has the higher amount of points will win the card and place it on his used stack.
Most of these Bakugans are small and can be easily carried in the pocket, but there is the majestic Deka which is larger than a tennis ball. Kids adore collecting all of these figures as much as they enjoy playing with them. The Bakugan Battle Pack starts even a novice player off with 6 different Bakugan warriors, and you never know which ones you will get. Also included are 8 metal gate cards that have the magnetic properties needed

Bakugan Battle Pack game is the hot new toy for this holiday season. Kids love to emulate their favorite television characters, and in this strategy game the whole family can play, they get to do just that. It's a wonderful way for parents and kids to enjoy time together, and if you add Bakugan to your family game night, you may find yourself more eager for game night than your kids!

How To Play The Bakugan Game

Bakugan is one of today's most popular games with boys ages 6-12. The game combines a Pokemon type card play with the old school game of marbles. Bakugan was developed by Sega Toys and Spin Master and released in connection with the anime series, Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The game's popularity spread quickly with American boys ages 6-12, so much so that Toys R Us held tournaments in parts of the U.S.

The game uses metal cards and magnetic spring-loaded figures, which represent the Bakugan.
The purpose of the game is to capture three of the opponent's Gate cards or defeat all their Bakugan.

The story of Bakugan Battle Brawlers revolves around the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the battle brawler characters who hold them. In 2007, Bakugan Battle Brawlers debuted in Japan on TV Tokyo.

What's required to play?
Starter packs can be purchased that contain the minimum needed for a single player in the Bakugan game. Starter packs contain 3 Bakugan, 3 Ability cards and 3 Gate cards. Buy two starter packs and you're ready to play the game. It's a good idea to follow the characters and point system as some cards (Ability and Gate) are more valuable than others.

Each player needs:

3 Bakugan
3 Gate cards: one of each color, (cards are heavier and make the Bakugan open)
3 Ability cards

Play
Each player places one of their Gate cards face down in the field so that they barely touch each other at the top (similar to dominoes). The player whose turn it is chooses a Bakugan and says "Bakugan - Brawl". The player then rolls one of his unused Bakugan at the Gate cards in the field

After a Player Rolls
Various scenarios dictate what happens, but at some point, when multiple rolled Bakugan open up on a card, the battle ensues. The winner of a battle is determined by points based on the Gate and Ability cards. The winner places the cards and Bakugan in their pile.

The Bakugan game is a definite winner with boys ages 6-12, and who knows, even parents may decide to get in on the action.
